Why "Adjective" is More Meaningful Than "Noun". [with Some Real Life Examples]

So writer, what do you mean by the title of this writing? ^^
Well, let's talk more about linguistic here and it's true that Adjective words are more powerful than Noun Words.
Here's the example:



Let say you will have a party with your spouse and are waiting for her to finish her grooming. Then, which one do you think it is a better to say when you see your spouse afterwards:

"Wow! You look beautiful. (adjective)"

OR

"Wow! You look such a beauty. (Noun)"

Of course the first one right? :)

Adjectives and Adverbs are good friends.

Furthermore, let's see if you add an adverb word in it i.e "very", "really", etc.

It becomes: "Wow! You look really beautiful." (And, of course do it sincerely ya^^)

Better right? ^^


An Interesting Fact You Should Know:

"Spread The Happy". Who doesn't love Nutella? lol ^^

In advertising, it is more common now to use an adjective as a noun. (Well, actually we have used it in daily live too for instance "Let's meet the awesome!" It means that we want to meet someone that is awesome or has been known as an awesome person.)

• In Search of Incredible (ASUS Computer Company)
• Your Best Beautiful (OLAY)

Thus, adjectives can influence how we think and feel. Use the positive one. ^^
